The UGC-DEB has implemented a revised admission process for all Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online (OL) programs, effective from the October 2024 academic session (previously scheduled for July-August 2024)
According to the UGC-DEB Public Notice dated August 19, 2024, it is now mandatory for all learners, except international students, to generate a DEB-ID using their ABC ID before enrolling in any ODL or Online programs.
Enter the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID and click on “Enter”
Then
Enter the valid/ correct ABC ID for generation of DEB ID
Note your DEB-ID for further use and reference.
Enroll in a UGC recognised HEI using DEB ID
Then
Complete admission procedure in HEI portal with DEB ID
Students who have already enrolled in any of our ODL/OL programs for the specified session and have not yet generated or updated their DEB-IDs are requested to complete this process via their LMS login using the following path:
LMS Dashboard → Generate DEB ID
